چکیده
Abstract Increasing water use efficiency can be done by using the right irrigation system according to needs of plants. One option for efficient supply is a drip system. The research aims obtain conditions with high uniformity values. study was conducted testing level at several source head pressures three replications. indicator based on coefficient variance. test results show that value higher lower than heads. indicated friction pressure end and middle section better pressure. samples heads 19 cm, 62 113 cm were 44.92, 23.40, 9.16, respectively, while 30 66 115 46.39, 14.43 10.36, respectively. These values indicate relationship between variation inversely proportional. low means distribution evenly distributed. So it said sago midrib material feasible as an emitter. In addition, resulting discharge small, so qualifies

Drip irrigation is one of the new irrigation methods for optimum use of water resources and increase of irrigation efficiency. The emitters' clogging is the most important problem in these systems. The physical clogging is the most important factor in reducing the discharge and emission uniformity of emitters. The emitter position on the laterals and emitter spacing are the factors that affect ...
متن کاملApplication of alternative fumigants through drip irrigation systems.
ABSTRACT Strawberry fields in California (9,500 ha annually) are pre-plant fumigated with methyl bromide and chloropicrin to prevent serious soil pest and disease problems. Although soil fumigation with methyl bromide has ensured stability of strawberry production, its use is being discontinued because of its effect on stratospheric ozone. The likely short-term alternatives such as 1,3-dichloro...
متن کاملModeling the future of irrigation: A parametric description of pressure compensating drip irrigation emitter performance
Drip irrigation is a means of distributing the exact amount of water a plant needs by dripping water directly onto the root zone. It can produce up to 90% more crops than rain-fed irrigation, and reduce water consumption by 70% compared to conventional flood irrigation. Drip irrigation may enable millions of poor farmers to rise out of poverty by growing more and higher value crops, while not c...
متن کاملDesign Considerations for Subsurface Drip Irrigation (SDI) Systems
Gary A. Clark Research Irrigation Engineer Quick Facts Subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) is a low-pressure irrigation system that uses polyethylene driplines that are permanently buried below the soil surface. Water drips to the surrounding soil through built-in emitters (specialized small openings). SDI places water directly into the root zone of the crop. It may improve yield due to high appli...

introduction: an appropriate water resources management and planning is necessary due to the scarcity of water resources and rapidly growing world population. in this regard, selecting appropriate methods for irrigation is one of the most important issues. drip irrigation is a recent advanced irrigation method in which fertilizers can be efficiently applied along with irrigation water. drip fer...
